Team Fit is operated by LP Works LLC, a New York limited liability company, which is responsible for the information described in this policy. In this policy, "Team Fit," "we," "us," and "our" refer to LP Works LLC. You can reach us at support@myteamfit.net.
We collect the following categories of information to operate the Team Fit platform:
Church admin accounts: name, email address, and a hashed (non-reversible) password. We never store your password in plain text.
Volunteer submissions:name, email address, phone number, quiz answers, and position interests submitted through your church's volunteer assessment.
Assessment results:when someone finishes a church's volunteer assessment, we store their answers and the resulting role matches without any name or contact details, and, if they tap "Does this feel like you?", that answer. If they then express interest in a role, the submission above is linked to that result so the church sees one record.
Department contacts: names and email addresses of ministry leaders designated by the church to receive volunteer submission notifications.
Lead capture emails:email addresses collected when someone expresses interest in a church's volunteer program before completing the full assessment.
Try Leon demo: on our public Try Leon demo page we store the text you type into the demo box, the AI-generated position description it produces, a hashed (non-reversible) version of your IP address, and your browser user-agent string. If you choose to unlock the full result by entering your name and email address, we store those too. See the Try Leon Public Demo section below.
Usage metadata: browser user-agent strings and basic request metadata used for debugging and service reliability.
Website analytics: on our public marketing website we use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as page views, referring sources, approximate location, device type, and general engagement. This helps us improve the site. We do not sell this data.
Advertising on our public marketing pages:our home, pricing, Try Leon, Why Team Fit, Planning Center and unSeminary pages, and the signup page you see after checkout, use Meta's tracking code (the Meta Pixel). It uses cookies to tell Meta that someone visited one of these pages or started a free trial, so we can measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram and show them to people likely to find Team Fit useful. Meta may connect this to a Facebook or Instagram account under Meta's own privacy policy. It never runs on a church's own pages, the volunteer assessment, or any signed-in area of Team Fit, and we never send Meta what you type into a form, such as your name, email address, quiz answers or church details.
We use the information we collect solely to operate the Team Fit platform. Specifically:
To match volunteers to serving roles based on their quiz responses and the position profiles your church has configured.
To notify department contacts when a volunteer submits interest in a position they oversee.
To understand how each church's assessment is used and to improve how roles are matched.
To send transactional account emails, including password reset links and team member invitations.
To power in-product AI features. If your church uses our AI assistant, the content you send to it, along with relevant configuration data (such as your departments and positions), is processed by our AI provider to generate responses. This data is used only to provide the feature and is not used to train third-party AI models.
To process payments and manage subscriptions for churches on a paid plan.
We do not use church or volunteer data inside Team Fit for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service. The only advertising tool we use is the one on our public marketing pages, described under What We Collect.
Team Fit uses the following third-party infrastructure providers to operate the platform:
Vercel: hosting and edge infrastructure. Your data is processed on servers operated by Vercel, Inc.
Neon: serverless PostgreSQL database. Volunteer and account data is stored in a Neon-hosted database.
Resend: transactional email delivery. Emails sent by the platform (invitations, password resets, volunteer confirmations) are routed through Resend.
Anthropic: AI processing. Our in-product AI assistant and our public Try Leon demo send the text you type, along with relevant church configuration data where applicable, to Anthropic to generate responses. Anthropic processes this data on our behalf and does not use it to train its models.
Stripe: payment processing. If your church is on a paid plan, subscription billing is handled by Stripe. Your payment card details are provided directly to Stripe and are not stored on Team Fit's servers.
Planning Center: optional integration. If your church enables the Planning Center integration, Team Fit will connect to your Planning Center account at your direction to sync people and team data. This integration is entirely optional and controlled by your church.
Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics: website analytics on our public marketing site. These services collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data such as page views, traffic sources, device type, and approximate location to help us understand how visitors use the site.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram): advertising measurement on our public marketing pages only, as described under What We Collect. You can control how Meta uses it for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, or block it by turning off third-party cookies in your browser.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.
The church owns all volunteer data submitted through its Team Fit assessment. Team Fit acts as a data processor on the church's behalf. We do not claim any ownership or rights to the content your church collects.
As the data controller, the church is responsible for ensuring its volunteers understand how their information will be used and for maintaining appropriate consent where required by applicable law.
Try Leon is a free demo page that anyone can use without creating an account. You describe a volunteer role in your own words, and AI writes a sample position description back to you. After a couple of roles we ask for your name and email address, and send you a link that lets you write a few more.
Please do not enter personal or confidential information about real people into the demo box. Describe the role, not the person. Leave out names, contact details, health or background information, and anything else private about a specific individual.
When you use the demo, we store the exact text you typed, the full AI-generated result, a hashed version of your IP address, and your browser user-agent string. The hashed IP is used to limit how many results one visitor can generate, so the demo stays available and affordable to run. We cannot recover your actual IP address from the stored value. If you enter your name and email address, we store those and may use them to follow up with you about Team Fit. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
The text you type is sent to Anthropic, our third-party AI provider, to generate the position description. Anthropic processes it on our behalf and does not use it to train its models. Because your input leaves our systems to be processed, this is the main reason to keep real people out of it.
We keep demo submissions while we operate and improve the demo, and we review them to understand what churches need and where the AI gets things wrong. We do not currently delete them on a fixed schedule. You can request deletion of your demo data at any time by contacting us, and we will remove it.
Account and volunteer data is retained while your church's account is active. If you terminate your account, you may request a full export of your data before deletion. Upon account termination, we will delete or anonymize your church's data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.
All data transmitted between your browser and Team Fit is encrypted in transit using TLS. Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes and are never recoverable, even by us.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no system is perfectly secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to keep your credentials confidential.
We do not sell, rent, broker, or monetize any personal data collected through the Team Fit platform. Ever.
